Photography is so much more than just pointing the camera to take a picture. A lot of decisions go into each photo I take.

Before I take a photo, I decide what lens I need. I decide my settings for my aperture and shutter speed and then decide how I want to focus my picture.

I also have to decide what compesition I want for my photo. I need to figure out what angle I want and how I want it framed. I keep the principles of design in mind when making these decisions.

Once I snap my photo, I use an editing program to edit my photo. You can decide lighting, contrast, values, colors, and much more. The end product is a combination of many decisions.
